Overview
The Eclipse Coupe returns as a carryover model available in either a five-speed manual, four-speed automatic, or four-speed Sportronic auto-manual transmission. Trims include RS, GS, GT and GTS. For 2004, the interior has been refreshed with a redesigned dashboard and center console. There are also two new exterior colors offered, Machine Green and Torched Steel Blue. A seatbelt reminder indicator has also been added to the standard equipment list for this year. The RS trim now comes equipped with a six-speaker system, as well as power exterior mirrors. Other standard amenities include an AM/FM stereo with CD player and alloy wheels. The optional Sun & Sound Package features an Infinity sound system, steering wheel audio controls, and a power sunroof.
