Overview
The Jetta returns for 2004 with various revisions across the board. It is again available in Sedan or Wagon with several different engine choices: 2.0L in-line four, 1.9L Turbo Diesel, 1.8L Turbo, and 2.8L V-6. Changes to all models include a partially redesigned exterior, improved emissions, an updated dashboard, and new Aero windshield wipers. All Jettas now also offer the OnStar Telematics Communication System as an option. The GLS trim adds the Monsoon Sound System to its list of standard equipment, while the GL deletes the Cold Weather Package from its option list. The GLI trim receives new 17-inch alloy wheels (18-inch on 1.8T models), as well as standard heated seats and washer nozzles.
