Intellichoice Review
The 2004 Honda Civic Coupe is mostly a carryover from 2003. For 2004, the Honda Civic Coupe has four trimlines: Base, HX, LX, and EX. The exterior receives a freshened look with redesigned tail lamps and new wheel covers. The interior has also been revised in several ways. All trimlines can be equipped with a standard five-speed manual transmission with overdrive. A four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is also available for the Base, HX, LX and EX. The HX is equipped with a VTEC-E lean burn 117-hp engine, and it achieves an efficient 36 mpg city and 44 mpg highway. For added safety, dual stage airbags are standard for all trimlines. Side air bags are available at extra cost, and a power moonroof is standard on the EX.
