Overview
For 2004 the Mitsubishi Galant has been completely redesigned and is available in four trims - DE, ES, LS V6, and GTS V6. The DE and LS models now feature a 160hp 4-cylinder engine, while the V6 models come with a new 3.8L engine that produces 230 hp. This engine is coupled with a steptronic automatic that offers dynamic manual shifting by using a lever that shifts it into Sport Mode. Standard safety equipment on all Galant models includes dual stage airbags, trunk entrapment release handle, theft deterrent system, keyless entry system, front and rear crumple zones, and engine immobilizer. The GTS includes such standard features as Titanium interior trim, blue LED instrumentation, rear spoiler, 17 wheels, and leather seating.
