Overview

For 2004, GMC has decided to add the 2500 Crew Cabs to its model line-up. It is available in four models: SLE, and SLT trims in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. A 6.0L 300-hp Vortec V-8 engine coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission is available as standard equipment on all models. The SLT comes fully loaded with 10-way powered leather bucket seats with memory functions, Bose sound system with CD changer, and an OnStar communications system. Optional packages include a Trailering Special Equipment Group, a Skid Plate Package, and a Snow Plow Package. Some of the optional features on the SLE include leather seating, reclining bucket seats, and a premium sound system with Bose speaker system, amplifier, and subwoofer.
