Overview
The Kia Spectra returns for 2004 as a carryover model. It has four trimlines: Base Sedan, GS Hatchback, LS Sedan, and GSX Hatchback. The Spectra is powered by a 1.8L 124-hp engine that can be equipped with either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. The GS Hatchback now comes equipped with standard air conditioning. The LS Sedan and GSX Hatchback offer a Cruise Package that includes speed control and variable intermittent wipers. A six-disc CD changer is an optional audio feature available on all models. An ABS braking system and alloy wheels are optional features for the LS Sedan and GSX Hatchback. Standard features include a rear window defroster, an AM/FM stereo with CD, and Dual front airbags.
