Overview

For 2004, the Optima returns with a renamed model line-up. Models now include the LX, LX Automatic, LX-V6, EX, and EX-V6. A 138-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine is standard on the LX and EX, while a 170-hp 2.7L V-6 powers the LX V6 and EX V6. All models include air conditioning, power windows and door locks, and dual power mirrors. The EX models add front fog lights, a homelink universal transmitter, and a power glass moonroof. An optional anti-lock braking system is available on V6 models. Leather seating surfaces, a four-way power passenger seat, leather steering, and leather door trim panels are available with the Leather Package on the EX models. Optional equipment includes floor mats, a compact disc changer, and a rear spoiler.
