Overview
The 2004 Sierra 1500 Extended Cab returns with minimal changes to the interior and exterior. The 1500 Crew Cab model has been discontinued. The Sierra 1500 Extended Cabs are available in three trim levels: Base, SLE, and SLT. All are available in either 2WD or 4WD. All Base and SLE models feature a 4.8L V8 engine producing 285 horsepower. The SLT models are equipped with a 5.3L V8 engine producing 295 horsepower. This engine is available as an option on Base and SLE models. Standard equipment on the SLT include automatic door locks, a theft deterrent system, illuminated keyless remote entry, a leather wrapped steering wheel with touch controls, leather seating surfaces, and a Premium Audio System with Bose speakers and 6-Disc CD Changer.
