Overview

Ford's F-150 has been substantially redesigned for 2004. All new exterior styling is accompanied by model line-up, package, and powertrain changes, as well. The F-150 SuperCrews are available in XLT, FX4, and Lariat trims. The standard engine is now a 4.6L V-8 on XLT models, with a 5.4L engine standard on FX4 and Lariat models. Both engines are coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The new F-150 also gets larger standard wheels and tires, all-new interior appointments (including an available console-mounted shifter), and new exterior and interior color combinations. A rear seat entertainment package is now available, which features a DVD player and 7-inch LCD viewing screen.
