Overview
The GMC Yukon returns for 2004 with minor changes. This full-size SUV is available in SLE and SLT trimlines in 2WD and 4WD, and the luxurious AWD Denali. The standard power plant is a 4.8L 275 horsepower V8, with an optional 5.3L 285 horsepower V8 available. The Denali features a pumped up 6.0L engine producing 320 hp. All engine options are coupled with an electronically controlled, four-speed automatic transmission. The Denali features upgrades such as adjustable power pedals, heated leather seats, and the OnStar Communications system. New for 2004, all models feature a standard tire pressure monitor and optional six-spoke 17-inch aluminum wheels (SLT only). When equipped with the optional third-row seat, the Yukon can seat up to nine passengers.
