Overview
The 2004 Ford Expedition returns with little change from last years model. The XLS models have replaced the XLT Value Package from the previous year while the XLT NBX replaces the FX4 Off-Road model. The limited slip differential has been deleted as standard equipment and the tire pressure monitoring system becomes standard equipment on all models with aluminum wheels. Standard features on all models include front tow hooks (4x4 only), Class III trailer tow package, solar tinted windows, and keyless entry keypad. The Eddie Bauer is upgraded with dual electronic automatic temperature controls and reverse sensing system. A 5.4L V8 engine is available on all XLT and Eddie Bauer models (standard on XLT NBX and Eddie Bauer 4WD models).
