Overview
The Taurus has been refreshed for this year with new tailpipes, grill, front and rear fascias, and steering wheel. The exhaust system has also been revamped, improving emissions and gas mileage on the Duratec engine. The Taurus is again available in six models: LX Sedan, SE Sedan and Wagon, SES Sedan, and SEL Sedan and Wagon. It now offers some of its package features as stand-alone options, including side impact airbags, a leather steering wheel, a CD player, and traction control. Also new for this year is the availability of the Wood Package on SES models. Previously standard on all Wagon models, a third-row seat and cargo cover are now part of an optional Wagon Group. Other options include a power moonroof and power adjustable pedals.
