Overview
The Explorer Sport Trac is available in two-wheel or four-wheel drive configurations, and in several trim arrays: XLS, XLT, XLT Premium. The manual transmission is no longer available, making the five-speed automatic the standard transmission for all models. The Adrenalin, a trim that will be offered later on in the model year, adds a premium Pioneer sound system with nine-speakers and an eight-inch subwoofer, unique five-spoke aluminum wheels, and Adrenalin exterior badging on the tailgate. Three new exterior colors are made available for this year: Dark Pearl Blue, Pueblo Gold, and Competition Orange. Options include head curtain airbags, a hard tonneau cover, a bed extender, and a limited slip rear axle.
