Overview
The S40 returns with a powerful 1.9L 170-hp turbo gas engine, coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. A limited production S40 LSE is being offered this year. The LSE comes standard with many of the Premium package contents. This Package includes a leather handbrake lever and leather gear shift knob, while the Sport Package adds 16-inch GALACTICA alloy wheels and a front spoiler. Optional features offered on the S40 and standard on the LSE include a power glass moonroof, leather seating surfaces, and a leather steering wheel. Other options include integrated child booster cushions (rear), a power driver seat, and CD changer pre-wiring. The audio system is equipped with a power antenna, 100-watt amplifer, and six speakers.
