Overview
The 2003 Spectra is mostly a carryover from its 2002 model. For 2003, it has four trimlines: Sedan, GS Hatchback, LS Sedan, and GSX Hatchback. The vehicle is powered by a 1.8L 124-hp engine. It can be equipped with either a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic. The LS Sedan and GSX Hatchback offer a Cruise Package that includes speed control and variable intermittent wipers. An optional feature available for all trimlines is the six-disc compact disc changer. Braking system and alloy wheels are optional features for the LS Sedan and GSX Hatchback. Standard features of the vehicle include rear window defroster, AM/FM stereo with CD. Dual front airbags are a standard safety feature for all trimlines.
