Overview
The all-new Accord sedan undergoes a new redesigned body style for 2003. The new engine powertrain includes increased 10 horsepower on the 2.4L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine and 40 horsepower on the 3.0L V6 engine. A new five-speed automatic transmission replaces the four-speed automatic. The Accord now offers a side curtain airbag available as a standard safety feature on EX V-6. The side airbags are now standard on the EX and V6 models. The ABS (Anti-lock Brakes System) has been made standard equipment on all Accords. The four-wheel disc brakes now feature EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution). A new Satellite Navigation System that features voice activation system will be available early in 2003.
