Overview
Hyundai's small SUV returns for 2003 as a carryover model. The Santa Fe is again available in a four-cylinder base model, as well as four V-6 models: GLS and LX in 2WD and 4WD. New for 2003, all models now come equipped standard with side impact air bags. Also new is a Monsoon stereo with a six-disc CD changer, which is standard on LX models and optional on GLS models. Several option packages are available on the base model that include features such as anti-lock brakes, a cargo net, cruise control, and keyless entry remote with alarm. On the GLS, options also include a CD changer and power glass sunroof. Woodgrain trim joins the list of available port-installed options for this year. Others include mudguards, a cargo tray, and a tow hitch.
