Overview
The all-new XC90 is Volvo+s first offering in the SUV category. It's offered in 2WD and AWD. It is available in either a five or seven-seat configuration. Volvo XC90 is available in two powertrain configurations: a turbocharged 2.5L five-cylinder engine and a more powerful twin-turbocharged 2.9L six-cylinder engine producing 268-hp and 236 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated with a four-speed Geartronic automatic transmission that gives the driver the option to change gears manually or drive as a true automatic. Concerning safety, the XC90 is equipped with Roll Stability Control. In the event of a roll over, this feature activates a stability control system. The XC90 is also equipped with inflatable curtains for additional safety.
