Overview
The 2003 Volvo S40 returns with a powerful 1.9L 170-hp turbo gas engine, coupled with a standard five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The Premium Package now includes a leather handbrake lever and leather gear shift knob, while the Sport Package adds 16-inch GALACTICA alloy wheels and a front spoiler. Optional features offered for 2003 include a power glass sunroof, leather seating surfaces, and a leather steering wheel. Other options include integrated child booster cushions (rear), a power driver seat, and CD changer pre-wiring. The audio system is equipped with a power antenna, 100-watt amplifer, and six speakers. New exterior colors include Silver, Maya Gold, and Atlantic Blue.
