Overview
The 2003 Montero Sport 2WD remains available in ES, LS, XLS and Limited models. For 2003, the Montero Sport has a minor increase in headroom dimensions. The Montero Sport base AM/FM with CD audio system now features a 140-watt power output compared from 100-watt in 2002. For 2003, the Montero Sport ES now includes roof rails as standard equipment. The LS interior now features a new platinum finish look on gauges and a new sport fabric seat. The Limited has a new stylish color-keyed grille feature for 2003. All Montero Sport models feature a standard four-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control technology. A new exterior color, Amazon Green, is offered for the LS and XLS trim.
