Overview
The new 2003 BMW X5 is available in the following trimlines: 3.0i, 4.4i, and 4.6i. The 3.0i is powered by a 3.0L V6 225-hp engine, the 4.4i is powered by a 4.4L V8 290-hp engine, and the 4.6i is powered by a 4.6L V8 340-hp engine. The 3.0i comes coupled with a standard five-speed manual transmission, or an optional five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The 4.4i and 4.6i are equipped with the standard five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Optional packages are available for the 3.0i and 4.4i models, which include the Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Rear Climate Package, and the Premium Package. Optional features include a power glass moonroof and rear door side impact airbags.
