Overview
The 2003 Jetta wagons are carried over from the previous year with minor changes and are available in GL and GLS models. For 2003, outside heated power mirrors and power windows with express up/down with pinch protection are now standard on all models. New exterior paint choices for the sedans are Platinum Gray, Campanella White, and Alaska Green. Engine choices are a four-cylinder 115-hp 2.0L engine (GL and GLS) or a turbocharged four-cylinder 180-hp 1.8L engine (GL 1.8T and GLS 1.8T.) Safety features include driver and passenger front and side airbags, side curtain head protection, LATCH child safety seat anchors, and daytime running lights. A Monsoon Sound System and Electronic Stabilization Program are available for all models.
