Overview
The new 2003 Beetle is available in the GL, GLS, GLX, and the Turbo S models. Optional equipment includes the Monsoon eight-speaker sound system, a six-disc trunk mounted CD changer, and the electronic stabilization program with brake assist for enhanced traction control. A power glass sunroof is now standard on the GLS, GLX, and the Turbo and includes a sunshade and pinch protection. The optional Leather Package features custom leather-trimmed seating surfaces, a leather steering wheel, and leather hand brake. New 17-inch alloy wheels with all season tires are now available on the GLS and GLX, and are standard on the Turbo. New exterior colors for 2003 include Galactic Blue, Sundown Orange, Sunflower Yellow, and Campanella White.
