Overview
The 2003 Jetta sedans are carried over from the previous year with minor changes. For 2003, outside heated power mirrors and power windows with express up/down with pinch protection are standard on all models. New exterior paint choices are Platinum Gray, Campanella White, and Alaska Green. Engine choices are a four-cylinder 115-hp 2.0L engine (GL and GLS,) a turbocharged four-cylinder 180-hp 1.8L engine (GL 1.8T and GLS 1.8T,) and a six-cylinder 200-hp 2.8L engine (GLI and GLX.) Safety features include driver and passenger front and side airbags, side curtain head protection, LATCH child safety seat anchors, and daytime running lights. A Monsoon Sound System and Electronic Stabilization Program are available for all models.
