Overview

The 2003 Passat Wagon is offered in the following trims: GL, GLS, GLX, and W8. New optional features include the eight-speaker Monsoon Sound System, a six-disc trunk mounted CD-changer, and the Electronic Stabilization System. Safety features include driver and front passenger air bags, LATCH child safety seat system, and height adjustable seat belts. The power glass sunroof, now standard for the GLS, GLX, and W8, comes with pinch protection, a sunshade, and power lock closing feature. The W8 model offers a new Sport Package featuring a sport suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels and tires. In addition, the V-6 Passats are available with Volkswagen's 4Motion all-wheel drive system when ordered with an automatic transmission.
