Overview
The 2003 Tacoma continues from the previous year with little changes. For the entry level, the Base Regular Cab includes a four-cylinder engine with five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, and two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. For a roomier cabin, the Xtracab includes a four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, and two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. A four-door Double Cab is powered by a six-cylinder engine with four-speed automatic, and four-wheel drive. For the street competitors, the S-Runner features a six-cylinder engine with five-speed manual transmission, and two-wheel drive. Also featured on the S-Runner is a lowered sport suspension.
