Overview
The 2003 Grand Cherokee continues from the 2002 model year. The 2003 models include the Laredo, Limited, and Overland. The Laredo and Limited are available in either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, while the Overland is four-wheel drive only. On the Laredo and Limited, a six-cylinder 4.0L 195-hp engine is standard, while a 4.7L 235-hp V8 engine is optional. Also available for the Limited is a high-output 4.7L 265-hp V8 engine (Standard on the Overland.) Enchanced safety features include braking enhancements, standard LATCH child safety seat anchors, available ceiling-mounted side curtain air bags, available tire pressure monitoring, available rain-sensing wipers, and available adjustable pedals.
