Overview
2003 brings a new look for the E-Class sedans while the wagons remain unchanged. The sedans receive a face-lift that includes restyled headlights, taillights, and front and rear fascia. Replacing the E430 sedan is the E500 with a new 5.0L V8 engine producing 302-hp and 339 lb.-ft. of torque. While the wagons list of options show little change, the sedans receive plenty of new tricks and gadgets to make any crazed Techie happy. Technology such as the optional Distronic adaptive cruise control that uses a radar receiver to help you maintain your preset following distance from the car's ahead. Another optional gizmo worth mentioning is the solar panels that create power to ventilate the car while it+s parked keeping the car nice and cool for your return.
