Overview
The 2003 A6 3.0 sedan and Avant quattro wagon replace the 2.8L engine with a new 3.0L V6 with 220 horsepower. The new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is now available on the Front-Track model. The Tiptronic transmission gearbox now features a Sport mode setting. The Symphony II radio now features an in-dash six-disc CD-changer, speed sensitive volume and a Radio Broadcast display system. Other optional features include the Audi Navigation System, OnStar Telematics, a premium BOSE sound system, and Rear Parktronic. The optional Premium Package includes a power sunroof, Xenon HID headlights, and memory seats. Safety features include an internal emergency trunk release, rear side airbags and the rear seat LATCH system.
