Overview
The 2003 Savana Passenger Van is now available with All-Wheel-Drive on 1500 regular wheelbase. The Savana's new powertrain; Vortec 5300 V8 engine is standard on AWD and Vortec 6000 V8 engine is standard on 2500 and 3500 models. Passenger side air bag deactivation switch is now available on models above 8600 lbs. GVWR. The left side swing-out 60/40 side door is now available on regular wheelbase models. A new 4-wheel disc brakes is now standard on all models. The OnStar Communication System is finally available for 2003. The Savana offers alternative fuel systems for models equipped with Vortec 6000 with automatic transmissions. New GVWR of 7200 lbs. on 1500 and 9600 lbs. on 3500 is now standard. Retained accessory power is also standard features.
