Overview
The Express Passenger Van G1500 regular wheelbase is now available with an all-wheel drive system. Other new changes include a redesigned frame, a minor front-end facelift, and dual power heated mirrors now offer integrated turn signal indicators. A new lineup of Vortec V8 engines is now standard on G2500 and G1500 AWD models. Alternative Fuel Conversion is now available with the Vortec 6.0L V8 engine. It offers a fully converted, dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) system or bi-fuel system using either CNG or gasoline. The OnStar is now available on all models. Passenger airbags now includes airbag deactivation on 2500 models. A passenger left side door is available on regular-length passenger van models.
