Overview
The Grand Cherokee offers several feature additions this model year. The 4.7L V8 engine will be made available for the 2WD Limited and Laredo models. Jeep will also offer the Selec-Trac 4WD system on the V8 engine. Other additions include two new colors: Silverstone and Shale Green. Deep tinted glass, trip computer, and delay off headlights are now standard equipment on all models. Major option packages for the 4WD Grand Cherokees are the Quadra Drive 4WD System and the Up Country Suspension Package. The Quadra Drive 4WD System comes with Vari-Lok Progressive axle, 3.73 rear axle ratio, and the Quadra-Trac II drive. Heavy-duty suspension, skid plates, spare tire, and tow hooks are features of the Up Country Suspension Package.
