Overview
The 2000 Hyundai Elantra Sedan and Wagon receive exterior styling upgrades including a new front grille, multi-focus reflector headlights and revised turn-signal lamps. Interior enhancements include improved seats and an extensive use of sound-deadening materials. A new 140-horsepower, 2.0-liter DOHC engine is standard on all models. Although the Sedan and Wagon come in only the GLS trim line, the standard feature list includes air conditioning, an AM/FM ETR stereo cassette radio, and power windows, doors and locks. In addition, the Hyundai Advantage Warranty provides 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain protection, a 5-year/60,000-mile limited bumper to bumper warranty and a 5-year/unlimited-mileage roadside assistance plan.
