Overview
The Sierra Classic 2500 remains virtually unchanged as it enters the 2000 model year. Both 2WD and 4WD are again offered, as well as a Regular and Extended Cab. The 4WD Extended Cab is offered in either a short or long bed, while all other models are equipped standard with a long bed. SLE and SLT Decor upgrades include air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with cassette and power locks, mirrors and windows. The SLT Decor also adds leather-seating surfaces and a keyless remote entry system. All 4WD models offer an optional Snow Plow Prep Package, which includes a heavy duty power steering cooler and heavy duty front springs. Additional options include front bucket seats, color-keyed carpeting, a truck bed liner and an AM/FM stereo with CD.
