Overview
The Sierra 2500 Series remains virtually unchanged since the introduction of its new bodystyle last year. Available models include 2WD and 4WD in both Regular and Extended Cab. Available H/D models, which have a GVWR of 8600 lbs., include a 2WD Regular Cab and a 4WD Regular and Extended Cab. New standard equipment for this year includes padded front armrests and full color-keyed carpeting. Also newly introduced is the optional electrochromic rearview mirror, which includes a compass and an outside temperature gauge. The optional Convenience Group adds cruise control, air conditioning, power locks and an AM/FM stereo with cassette. Additional features made available in 2000 include a soft tonneau cover and wheel flares for all 4WD models.
