Overview
The Sierra 1500 remains virtually unchanged since the introduction of its new bodystyle last year. Models are available in Regular and Extended Cab in both 2WD and 4WD. They are equipped with either a 6.5 ft. or 8 ft. wideside body truck bed. Also available is a short bed sportside body, which adds a rear chrome bumper and a tailgate spoiler. New for this year is an optional electrochromic rearview mirror, which includes a compass and an outside temperature gauge. Additional options include a soft tonneau cover and wheel flares for all 4WD models. Extended Cab models offer an optional Comfort Group, which includes power heated front bucket seats with memory, power lumbar supports and an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD.
