Overview
The Ram Van is available in four models: 1500 short and long wheel base, 2500 long wheelbase and 3500 long wheelbase. New features for 2000 include vehicle theft alarm door actuation (disarm) switches and circuit board improvements on the keyless remote entry transmitter. In addition, the hood mounted windshield spray nozzles eliminate freeze-up. Exterior changes include new chrome-clad wheels. The security alarm system includes driver programmable automatic locking, enhanced accident response, vehicle speed-sensitive intermittent windshield wipers and lock-out protection. Standard safety features include dual airbags with passenger side deactivation switch and rear anti-lock brakes. A six-speaker audio system is standard equipment.
