Overview
The Tahoe is to be completely redesigned later this model year. Currently, the 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe is available in two models: 2WD and 4WD. Chevrolet has dropped the Base and LS trim lines and only offers the LT Equipment Group. The LT Equipment Group adds standard features such as front and rear air conditioning, leather seats, and an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player. Locking differential, and an engine and transmission oil cooler are other features now standard on all models. Lastly, the Tahoe only offers two optional packages the Comfort & Security Package and Trailering Equipment. Heated seats, 6-way power seats, outside heated mirror, and HomeLink 3-channel transmitter are features within the Comfort & Security Package.
