Overview
The New GTI is available in two models for this year - GLS and GLX V6. This vehicle is introduced mid-year and features luxury amenities including a power sunroof, cruise control, a keyless entry remote system and a premium eight-speaker AM/FM stereo with cassette. Standard safety equipment includes dual front air bags, dual side air bags and side impact door beams. The GLX upgrades by adding 16-inch alloy wheels, a multi-function trip computer and automatic climate control. The Partial Leather Package, which is also standard on the GLX, includes heated front seats and leather seating surfaces, steering wheel and shift knob. Options include a six-disc CD changer and an automatic transmission, which is only available on the GLE.
