Overview
The 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse is available in four sports coupe models and two convertible models. The Eclipse RS and GS feature color-keyed bumpers, wheel covers and a rear defroster. The GS offers premium value packages including an alarm system, leather seating and a premium sound system. The GS-T and GSX feature turbocharged engines producing 210 hp. The GS-T includes standard chrome-plated 16 alloy wheels, sport seats and power equipment. Other GS-T options such as leather seats, a keyless remote entry system and a sunroof are standard on the GSX. The GSX is the only model with full-time AWD. Built in Illinois alongside the other Eclipse models, the Spyder convertibles feature a power cloth top, a CD player and alloy wheels.
