Overview
The 1999 Grand Marquis sedan is available in two models. This year the exterior appearance is further enhanced with a series of color and trim changes. Three new colors were introduced; Deep Wedgewood Blue, Harvest Gold, and Light Blue. The new interior color Medium Parchment replaces Light Prairie Tan. The optional anti-lock brakes is now available separately or with traction control. Engine horsepower increases to 215 with the optional handling package, which includes dual exhausts, 3.27:1 axle ratio, upgraded front and rear stabilizer bars, and rear air springs. The luxury light group, which includes reading lights and illuminated visor vanity mirrors, is optional on GS and standard on LS. Automatic climate control is optional on LS only.
