Overview
The S-Class sedan is available in five models: S320, available in standard wheelbase or long wheelbase, S420, S500 and S600. The seat backs, head restraints and map pockets of every S-Class sedan is upholstered in supple, vat-dyed leather. The front seat cushions move independently from the seat backs, allowing one to lengthen or shorten the cushions for optimum thigh support. The patented 5-arm rear suspension uses separate shock absorbers and coil springs to optimize ride and handling. Each S-Class engine is mated to an electronically controlled 5-speed transmission that+s driver-adaptive. Every sedan features the Flexible Service System which determines precisely when service is due. A premium Bose¿ sound system is also standard.
