Overview
For 1999, the CL-Class returns with minimal changes. There are two models available, the CL500 and CL600. The CL-Class is equipped with several upper-level luxury amenities as well as many safety features. The CL-Class features heated 12-way adjustable seats, walnut trim appliquÄs, a full leather trimmed interior and an 11-speaker Bose Beta sound system. For safety, the CL-Class features the BabySmart¬ system and Automatic Slip Control. The BabySmart¬ system deactivates the front passenger air bag in the presence of a BabySmart compatible child seat. The Automatic Slip Control senses wheel slip and brakes the slipping wheel and/or reduces excess engine power until control is regained. The CL-class also includes the Parktronic System.
