Overview
The CR-V is again available in three models - the LX 2WD and 4WD and the EX 4WD. Standard features include an AM/FM stereo with digital clock, cruise control and power door locks, windows and mirrors. Additional standard equipment includes a rear window wiper/washer, a micron air filtration system and power outlets in both the front and rear. New for 1999 are illuminated power window switches, a durable spare tire cover, a new interior seat material and adjustable passenger armrests. A fold-out picnic table comes standard with all CR-V's and is housed in the rear cargo compartment floor. The CR-V receives a boost in power for this year with the addition of the 146-hp engine, which is a 20-hp increase from last year+s engine.
