Overview
For 1999, the K1500 extended cab is available as a single model. The Trailer Towing package includes heavy-duty shock absorbers, a trailer hitch platform and an engine and transmission oil cooler. Also optional, the LS Premium Decor group includes leather trim, a keyless entry system, electrochromic mirrors and a power driver's seat. Standard features now include the Vortec 5-liter V8 engine, a four-speed automatic transmission and an electric shift control transfer case. Air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with cassette and the Convenience Group including power windows and door locks, cruise control and a tilt steering wheel are also standard. New exterior colors for 1999 include Medium Charcoal Gray, Sunset Gold and Meadow Green.
