Overview

The 1996 Corolla is available in three models - (Base), DX sedan and wagon. The new Corolla comes equipped with safety features such as dual airbags, child safety locks and side-impact door beams. Other standard equipment includes side window defroster, remote fuel and trunk releases, tinted glass, cup holders and halogen headlights with an auto-off feature. Both the DX sedan and wagon feature a 1.8L engine, 60/40 split folding rear seat with security locks, power steering, dual remote mirrors, digital clock, moldings and wheel covers. Options include automatic transmission, ABS brakes, air conditioning and various stereos. Also available at extra cost on all models are the All-Weather Guard, Radio Prep and Value Packages.
