Overview
The 1996 SL sedans are available in three models -- SL, SL1 and SL2. The 1996 SL sports a new look this year. Exterior changes to the SL sedans are small yet discernible. Saturn now makes standard on all models a new Sequential-port fuel injection system. All models come equipped with driver and passenger-side airbag and meet 1997 side impact safety standards. New for 1996 all model's come equipped with daytime running lights. The SL1 and SL2 models are available with a four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, traction control, cruise control, power locks (including remote keyless entry) and power windows. The SL2 offers optional leather appointments.
