Overview

The 1996 Saab 9000 Turbo is available in three models -- CS, CSE and Aero hatchbacks. For 1996, new features include rear cupholders, added storage compartments and redesigned light alloy wheels. Standard safety features include 4-wheel ABS, dual air bags, front/rear fog lamps and daytime running lights. Additional standard equipment includes power windows, heated seats and cruise control. Also included is automatic climate control and a theft deterrent system. The CSE upgrades the CS with 8-way power seats, sunroof, leather seating surfaces and an am/fm cassette stereo with CD player. The 9000 Aero also includes full leather sport seats and 16-inch tires and wheels. A 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission is optional.
