Overview
The 1996 King Cab is available in four models - XE and SE; 2WD and 4WD. For 1996, the model line-up has been revised. New features include a driver-side air bag, new cloth seats and a redesigned center console. Two new Value Truck Packages are available, including VTP Black (replaces all chrome trim with black trim) and VTP with air conditioning delete. A new beige interior color replaces last year+s blue interior. Gray interior is also available. Models with the VTP package now feature alloy wheels instead of chrome wheels. The Chrome Package, Convenience Package and Driver Comfort Package are optional on XE models and standard on SE models. Tinted glass, rear folding jump seats and sliding rear window are standard on all King Cabs.
