Overview
The 1996.5 4WD Mazda pickup is available in five models -- the (Base) B2300 regular cab; B3000 SE cab plus; B4000 SE regular cab and Cab Plus and LE cab plus. The B2300 models come standard with a 2.3L four-cylinder engine while the a 3.0L V6 is standard on the B3000 SE and 4.0L V6 comes on the B4000 series. Standard equipment includes a drivers-side air bag, removable tailgate, power steering and cargo tie-down hooks. Air conditioning, cruise control and four-speed automatic transmission are just a few of the free standing options available. Upgrade packages for SE and LE models round out the list of options for the B-series pickups. A passenger-side air bag is now available with the SE plus and LE package upgrades.
